    Excellent
This podcast is phenomenal. Thoroughly researched, but digestible for listeners of almost any age. I find myself in awe of the facts I learn with nearly event episode I listen to.

    Keeps me in touch
As a retired chemist living away from my previous scientific realm, it is super to tune into Tiny Matters for some interesting science. I love the breadth of their subjects, their concise summaries, and lighthearted comments. My curiosity is often sparked which leads me to Wikipedia for a deeper dive into the topic. Thanks Sam and Deboki and the ACS.

    Tiny Matters
The two of you do an amazing job of making sense of such a wide array of scientific topics. This recent podcast about tuberculosis was a real eyeopener. My all time favorite was “We Don’t Deserve Dogs” which clarified that our dogs truly love us. They just seem like they only care about being fed. Not true according to brain scans and chemical analyses. Amazing!

Love this show. Very well written and informative. Sam and Deboki are exceptional podcasters. Love how they make the discussion so inclusive it’s like you’re sitting next to them in the same room and they’re talking directly to you.

    Love, but….
Great show. Short format skims and omits much though. It is tiny after all. Still, a little research helps. The episode on sleep and spiders includes a guest saying that remembering dreams, even “bad” ones is a sign of “good sleep”. For persons with sleep disorders such as night terrors or rem sleep behavior disorder, rem sleep is not an indicator of good sleep. Person’s with insomnia, chronic sleep deprivation, narcolepsy, broken/interrupted sleep, etc may still dream and remember dreams, but the sleep is far from restorative and “good”. Good sleep includes periods of non-rem sleep, and for all stages of sleep to be free from disruption and/or disorder. Thank you for reading.

I never thought fossils were interesting…until this show! I appreciate the hosts ‘why should I care’ approach, and how they explained the connection between dinosaurs and climate change. Plus, fun Jurassic Park facts!! Looking forward to your next episode.
